Info: Our guest is John Podhoretz, Editoral Director at Commentary Magazine. He will take over as editor of the magazine next year, a position his father, Norman Podhoretz, held for 35 years from 1960 to 1995. Before joining commentary, John Podhoretz was chief political columnist for the New York Post. He was a speechwriter in the Reagan and George H.W. Bush Administrations. When the television program "West Wing" was being aired, John Podhoretz worked as a consultant. He has also worked for Time Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and The Washington Times.
