Info: Our guest is Ross Douthat, op-ed columnist for the New York Times. Douthat recently replaced Bill Kristol to become the youngest regular op-ed writer in the history of The New York Times. He is a former senior editor for The Atlantic. He has also written for The Weekly Standard, Slate, and the Wall Street Journal. He has authored two books: "Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class" (2005) and was co-author of "Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream" (2008).
