Info: Our guest is R. Jeffrey Smith of The Washington Post. In his current position on the Post's investigative team, he has written articles about personal and leadership political action committees and their influence on Congress. eff Smith has been with the Washington Post since 1986 in a variety of roles including National Investigative Editor and Rome Bureau Chief. In 2006 he shared a Pulitzer Prize for articles about lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Earlier he had been a Pulitzer finalist for articles on Kosovo in 1999 and articles about Abu Ghraid in 2005. Prior to working at the Post, he wrote for Science Magazine.
