Info: Fox News Washington Managing Editor Brit Hume looks at the state of journalism and his own path from newspaper reporter to TV anchor. He also discusses his network's philosophy on coverage and presentation of the news and why it is unique. Brit Hume joined Fox News in 1996. He currently is Washington Managing Dditor and also anchors "Special Report with Brit Hume which airs weekdays at 6pm ET on Fox News Channel. Newspapers report that Mr. Hume will be stepping down from his Managing Editor and Anchor duties at the end of 2008.
