Info: Our guests are three reporters who have covered the planning and building of the Capitol Visitor Center for the newspaper Roll Call. Lauren Whittington, John McArdle, and Emily Yehle followed the congressional hearings, increases in costs, and delays in opening that have been a part of the CVC history. Using video of oversight hearings, they look at the various issues facing then Architect of the Capitol Alan Hantman as well as members of Congress charged with overseeing the project. The Capitol Visitor Center is scheduled to open on Tuesday, December 2nd.
